This metal bottle opener is from the
Ballantine Brewery
in
Newark
,
NJ
. It is stamped “
Ballantine Ale & Beer
” on both sides with their famous three-circle logo. One side is also marked “
Not for Resale
” and “
Handy Walden Inc. NYC 62
”, so the opener is from
1962!
As shown in the photos, the bottle opener is in excellent used condition… it’s nice and shiny with very little wear from use or surface oxidation. The bottle opener measures about 3½” long and ⅝” wide. This vintage Ballantine’s Ale & Beer bottle opener would make a great addition to your collection!
