AU (Auburn University) Starr X Stationary Wall Mounted Bottle Opener

Vintage AU (Auburn University) Starr "X" wall mounted stationary bottle opener, made by Brown Mfg. Company in the 1999-2002 timeframe.  Patent 2333088, Atlanta Ga. imprinted on the heel with Germany and mold position number 1 imprinted on the back.  This is the later AU color variation of number 1 in a series of 7 different NCAA college team openers made.  Only 7,823 AU openers were produce and are no longer available for sale.
These vintage openers are getting harder to find in any condition and this one is in very nice unused condition (see photos).  More information can be found on it (and other Starr openers) in the book: "Guide To Collecting Brown Mfg. Company Bottle Openers Since 1925" page 57.
